Not really daiwok, the reason I am lazy at start was owing to my 'after' overnight shift working.

Seems roger456 can help you to do the electroplating.

not I know of for this type of metal. You can try clear lacquer, but I prefer to polish like a vintage car and just buff away the oxidization. I know people who electroplate the platter, but its not cheap.

eeehhh, seems home insurance does not cover internal defect caused by dynamic and bass impact.....

The only thing I can do is treating as typhoon, close all the windows, glasses doors with adhesive tapes apply on and seal all my toys/figures tighty in place.

Let's try to place your Lenco on the floor or any solid platform, the Bass performance is total different...It's very sensitive!!

Yes, daiwok did mentioned to me in the past. I ensure I can have a trial in coming future.

The small o-ring only useful on my tonearm....not related to the Lenco.

Vash,

Welcome to the club and nice to hear your ultra dynamic sound. For the first time in my life I feel relieved that I am normal that someone is playing music as loud and as dynamic as me. However, you are playing maggies !! OMG ! insane !! Certainly very musically rewarding, and yes you are the first to have the new dual pivot wand on the Terminator T3pro. Something that I developed with Vic the owner. We have a new one piece lasered arm coming out which will be even more amazing ^__^

Great to work in the workshop and finish that Lenco - to me such work is like art and a lot of blood sweat and tears my friend.

My current phono is a batteries operated DACT CT-100.

Congratulation Vash, it looks like Magic Hands are in action again.

Jubilee in an air arm with such a short arm wand must be dynamic as hell. Curious what is the phono that you use with it?

回覆 (966): Back to school !?
Thanks to Daiwok who brought me to his mechanical workshop today, assisted him to finanlise this masterpiece, a Lenco75 on PTP with Transfi Terminator tonearm !! We shared the great moment, it is a sweet/sweat experience that I haven't been in for almost 15 years !

Now I am listening to it and enjoying the moody moment....

whether it sounds good or not, it is another issue. it is definitely not because it has low inductance.

Tried, wirewound type (white ceramic or welyn) or thick film type (such as Caddock) from HKD1 to HKD30. None of them can sound better than current Dueland.

I choose Dueland owing to it's non-inductive design.
---------
then any carbon comp will do the job nicely and much much cheaper.
