I believe the plinth is made from layers of wood clued then sanded with filler and lacquered painted.
Yes the brass arm pod is beautiful ! |

Some of you want have requested some up skirt porn ....... so here we go .....
GLK's Garrard was serviced by me almost 1 year ago, things are still looking very tidy down below.
At the time the spark compressor was gone so the motor was continually spinning even when the turntable was in switched off mode, unless you unplug the mains. GLK bought a new spark compressor and this was a easy change
some desoldering and resoldering with a new spark compressor
Everything spinning nicely again ! note the nice shiny motor disc

I was offered the Ribbon cutting ceremony in installing his brand new SCHICK + MIDAS 103. A truly wonderful combination ......

Fitted onto a headshell and playing
